Brethren:
As many of you know there has been a long tradition of Masons serving our country. We pray for their protection.
Brother Broyles is currently working as the Site Manager at Bagram Airfield, USAF Facilities Engineering Team.
In recent communications with Brother Broyles he gave an update and sent some pictures. He was recently
located in the “..South Port Umm Qasr, Iraq to unload a ship with three 10MW gas turbine generators,
convoy them to West Qunra oilfield and set them up for Exxon. We spent Christmas unloading the ship,
New Years Eve and New Years Day marshalling the convoys. We did spend New Year’s Eve Celebrating
with the Harbormaster, the HSE Officer from DHL Worldwide Transport a 32nd deg Freemason from Wales
and a fine bottle of Courvoisier Cognac. I am back in Bagram airfield as of yesterday to resolve some
power grid problems.” (1/13/2012)
